Many people ask us when they need to start their Buildings & Contents Insurance so lets break it down for you.
Once your solicitor confirms you have exchanged, that day is the day you start your insurances from as you are now legally responsible for the property!
Some people exchange and complete on the same day so then you would start them on the day you complete.
