Are you undergoing a Transfer of Equity? You may have come across the phrase TR1 Form, but what is this?
A TR1 form is a legal transfer document. Your solicitor will firstly send this to the ex party coming off the mortgage or send it to their solicitor, for them to sign. Once received back, your solicitor will then post this to you to sign and post back to them. The signatures must be wet ink as the solicitor is required to keep the original TR1 on their file.
A Transfer Of Equity is when someone is added onto the ownership of the property or transferred off. This could be in circumstances of Divorce, separation, or wanting to add on your partner to the mortgage/property.
