On the occasions when I contacted J4M and she wasn't available, there was always someone there who could readily look up the details of my case. The whole process took a few months, although that was beyond their control, and I'm pleased to say that I picked up the keys to my new home yesterday. I wouldn't hesitate to use this broker again, and I'd certainly recommend the initial outlay on using them rather than approaching banks/lenders directly.
